What is Digital Blood Hub?
Digital Blood Hub is a digital platform designed to connect blood donors and recipients (donees) efficiently. We aim to bridge the gap between those in need of blood and those willing to donate, using secure and verified channels.
Does Digital Blood Hub arrange blood for me?
No. Digital Blood Hub is not a blood bank or a supplier. We do not arrange or store blood. We simply connect verified donors and donees so they can coordinate directly.
Is Digital Blood Hub free to use?
Yes. Our basic donor-donee connection service is completely free for registered users.
How can I register as a blood donor?
You can register via our mobile app by creating a profile, selecting your blood group, and setting your availability for donation.
How often can I donate blood?
Medical guidelines generally allow whole blood donation every 3 months for males and every 4 months for females. Please consult your doctor for personal advice.
Will my personal details be visible to everyone?
No. Your personal contact information will only be shared with the donee if you accept a blood request.
Am I obligated to donate if I receive a request?
No. You have the right to accept or decline any request based on your availability, health, or personal reasons.
How do I request blood through Digital Blood Hub?
You can create a request by specifying your blood type, required quantity, hospital location, and urgency level. Your request will be sent to matching donors in your area.
How quickly can I expect a response?
Response time depends on donor availability and proximity. We recommend submitting requests as early as possible to maximize success.
Can I contact multiple donors at once?
Yes, you can send requests to multiple compatible donors, but please update your request status once your need is fulfilled to avoid unnecessary donor contact.
How is my data protected?
We follow strict data protection policies. Donor and donee details are only exchanged upon mutual consent. We do not sell or share data with third parties.
Can I use the donor/donee’s details for future personal benefit?
No. Using contact details for non-blood-related purposes, marketing, or harassment is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or legal action.
How do I report misuse or suspicious activity?
You can report any misuse via the “Report” option in the app or by contacting our support team directly.
Does Digital Blood Hub guarantee blood safety?
No. We only connect donors and donees. It is the responsibility of the hospital/recipient to ensure proper testing and screening before transfusion.
Is Digital Blood Hub responsible if a donation fails or is delayed?
No. While we make every effort to facilitate timely connections, we are not liable for unsuccessful donations, delays, or medical outcomes.
I forgot my password. How can I reset it?
Use the “Forgot Password” option on the login page to reset your password via your registered email or phone number.
The app isn’t working on my phone. What should I do?
Ensure your app is updated to the latest version and that you have a stable internet connection. If the problem persists, contact our support team.
